Here is a recap of the Paparelli Zoom Chat for Entrepreneurs #12
Special thanks to our discussion leader John Yates of Morris, Manning, and Martin, LLP.

Quote of the call: “Life is full of chapters. Don’t jump ahead.”
Another quote that captures the call: “Mentor others in your firm to be biz dev all-stars.”
12 takeaways on how to get new clients today
You need a broad view of the ecosystem to which you are marketing.
You must commit to investing in the community you will ultimately feed on.
Invent a platform that interests and serves the community.
It is all about people of influence. Invite them to lead the platform.
You become known and credible because of the people you hang with.
You are in the service business. Be a servant to the community.
Find a mentor who did it. Befriend him. Listen to him. Do what he says.
Networking is a top of funnel activity only. The goal is personal relationships.
Ask great questions to understand your prospect’s right-now problem.
Be a connector. The value is in solving problems. Solve them or connect the prospect to someone who can.
Stay in front of your community as a servant-leader.
Be great at your service...lawyer, CPA, real estate, whatever. Be great!
Every Paparelli Zoom Chat for Entrepreneurs will help you be a better entrepreneur. That’s the goal.
I look forward to seeing you next Wednesday, July 8, at 9 am.
